CTOnews.com, May 2 (Xinhua)-- Valve Steam's March hardware and software survey revealed the grim situation of Microsoft Windows 11, whose share fell from 30% to 22% in a month. It is not clear what caused it. Now the results of the April 2023 Steam hardware and software survey have been released, and the results are quite the opposite: Microsoft Windows 11 has regained the share it lost and is now at an all-time high.

Microsoft's Windows 11 share rose 10.98 percent in April 2023, bringing the operating system share to an all-time high of 33.39 percent, according to Valve. Microsoft Windows 10 remained first with 61.21 percent, down 12.74 percent from the previous month. Windows 10 and Windows 11 together accounted for 94.6 per cent of all Steam customers who agreed to participate in the survey.
