CTOnews.com May 2, the Debian project officially released Debian 11.7 on April 30, which is the seventh ISO update of the Debian GNU / Linux 11 "Bullseye" operating system series.

Debian 11.7 was released nearly four and a half months after the release of Debian 11.6, allowing users to deploy the Debian GNU / Linux 11 "Bullseye" operating system family on new computers with the latest installation content.

Debian 11.7 includes all security and software updates from December 17, 2022 to the current release of Debian GNU / Linux 11.6. In terms of quantity, Debian 11.7 includes a total of 102 security updates and 92 package bug Bug fixes.

According to the Debian project, this version of Debian Bullseye updates some of the included software packages.

The Debian 11.7 installation image is suitable for 64-bit (amd64), 32-bit (i386), PowerPC 64-bit Little Endian (ppc64el), IBM System z (s390x)), MIPS 64-bit Little Endian (mips64el), MIPS 32-bit Little Endian (mipsel), MIPS, Armel, ARMhf, and AArch64 (arm64) hardware architectures.

Users can download Debian 11.7 images with pre-installed KDE Plasma, GNOME, Xfce, LXQt, LXDE, Cinnamon and MATE desktop environments (CTOnews.com with download link), but only for 64-bit and 32-bit systems.

Existing Debian GNU / Linux 11 "Bullseye" users do not need to download these new ISO images to keep their installation up-to-date, just run the sudo apt update & & sudo apt full-upgrade command in the terminal emulator to upgrade periodically.
