Another reason people buy 4K TVs is smart features. The main challenge for the growth of 4K TVs is expected to be the lack of 4K content. Although these TVs can broadcast 1080p and 720p content, if consumers think 4K is not worth it, they may spend less money on less advanced TVs. With the passage of time, the price of recording devices that support 4K goes down and more and more content is produced, which will no longer be a problem.

Although the compound annual growth rate of 4K TVs may reach 19.19% over the whole period, the figure may be even lower in the short term, the report said. Incomes in many industries, including semiconductors and smartphones, are falling because of the poor economy.
