According to CTOnews.com news on May 1, Gree Electric Appliances released its 2022 annual report, with a total operating income of 190.151 billion yuan, an increase of 0.26% over the same period last year, and a net profit of 24.507 billion yuan belonging to the parent company, an increase of 6.26% over the same period last year. Of this total, the air conditioning business achieved a total operating income of 134.859 billion yuan, an increase of 2.39% over the same period in 2021, contributing a gross profit margin of 32.44%, and a gross profit margin level of 1.21% over 2021.

By the end of 2022, Gree Electric Appliance has about 72000 employees, including 548 young talents, 948 internal evaluation science and technology experts and more than 30,000 technical workers; a total of 12520 patents have been applied for at home and abroad, of which 7508 have been applied for invention patents and 3270 have been granted invention patents.

In 2022, Gree products have been sold to more than 190 countries and regions, and overseas business has achieved an operating income of 23.27 billion yuan. Among them, independent brands accounted for 57% of sales, and sales increased by nearly 20% compared with the same period last year.
