CTOnews.com May 1 news, Dongfeng Motor (600006) announced first-quarter results that operating income was 2.637 billion yuan, down 26.49% from the same period last year; net profit belonging to shareholders of listed companies was 95.63 million yuan, down 19.41% from the same period last year; net profit after deducting non-recurring profits and losses was 47.78 million yuan, down 51.41% from the same period last year; and basic earnings per share was 0.0478 yuan, down 19.39% from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Dongfeng Motor will launch its new electric series brand e π on April 18 and achieve 100% electrification by 2024, with sales of 500000 units in 2025.

The "e-Kai" plan takes the DSMA architecture and the third-generation Mach-MHD hybrid system as the two core technical support in the hybrid field, and Mach E power and Dongfeng quantum architecture as the two core technical support in the field of pure electricity. Dongfeng Fengshen will launch at least two new energy models every year from 2024, and at least eight products within three years to achieve full coverage of full-category and full-size new energy products.
