According to reports, the single-core performance of this processor has been improved by 16.5%, the multi-core performance has been improved by 28.9%, and the core performance has been improved by 14.1%.

Lenovo said that the upcoming small new Pro series notebooks will be equipped with R7 7840H / HS processors, and small new Air series will carry R7 7840U series processors. The main selling points of the new machine include: large core, big display, large memory, large storage, large battery, grand slam interface and large field of vision.

On January 5 this year, AMD unveiled a series of 7040 notebook processors. This series of processors uses 4nm technology, uses 8-core Zen4 CPU and RDNA3 kernel display, and is equipped with the latest Ruilong AI engine.

In terms of performance, the Ruilong 7040 series of notebook processors are 34% ahead of their competitors in multithreading performance and 21% in game performance, AMD said. In terms of parameters, R7 7840U and R7 7840H / HS should be the same, the difference lies in the different power consumption. This processor uses 4nm technology, Zen4 architecture, 8-core 16-thread, frequency up to 5.1GHz RDNA3 8MB second-level cache, 16MB three-level cache; core shows 780m ~ 12CU RDNA3 architecture, 2700MHz frequency. This series of processors supports LPDDR5x-7500 memory and memory capacity up to 256GB.
