According to the official Meta Quest v53 update notification, the Meta VR header display will support the automatic update option, which will automatically update all installed App before shutting down when enabled.

For parent users, another useful feature of the new system is the addition of a website filtering option in the Quest browser, which allows parents to block certain types of web pages for their children, and this function is tied to accounts rather than VR devices, so it can be set in the parental monitoring options of the Quest mobile app.

This version will also bring advanced camera settings, including image stabilization options, frame rate, bit rate, and aspect ratio. These tools enable users to better capture and share headshots.

In addition, Meta Quest browsers will support watching Twitch live streaming.

Finally, as officially promised, Meta Quest Pro is about to receive Wi-Fi 6e support. If the user has a network that supports Wi-Fi 6e at home, Meta Quest Pro can be used to achieve the highest 1.6Gbps transmission.
