According to the report, Didi posted a net loss of 23.783 billion yuan in 2022, down 52% from 49.334 billion yuan in the same period last year. The net loss under non-GAAP was 12.769 billion yuan, and the net loss under GAAP in the same period last year was 19.173 billion yuan, which was also significantly narrowed compared with the same period last year.

China's travel revenue fell 22% from 160.5 billion yuan in 2021 to 125.9 billion yuan in 2022. After the adjustment of China's travel business, EBITA has changed from a profit of 6.1 billion yuan in 2021 to a loss of 1.5 billion yuan in 2022.

International business revenue increased 62 per cent from 3.6 billion yuan in 2021 to 5.9 billion yuan in 2022. The adjusted EBITA loss of the international business decreased from a loss of 5.8 billion yuan in 2021 to a loss of 4 billion yuan in 2022. The main reason for the decrease is the improvement of operational efficiency.

Other business income fell by 7 per cent from 9.7 billion yuan in 2021 to 9 billion yuan in 2022.

According to the annual report, the total mileage of Didi carpool passengers reached 1.69 billion kilometers in 2022. By the end of 2022, Didi platform had accumulated more than 1.4 billion rides, and Didi bicycles and motorcycles had provided services in more than 250 cities.

At present, Didi already operates in China and 15 other countries around the world, with 587 million active users and 23 million active drivers. In March 2023, China's travel business completed an average of 28.2 million per day, an increase of 42 per cent compared with March 2022.
