Toyota Group as a whole will try its best to regain the trust of customers as soon as possible.

Dafa conducted the following survey:

Interviews with departments in charge of suspected crimes and related departments

Vehicle inspection

Development history of design changes and test results in the development process

It is confirmed that in the subsequent side impact test of the vehicle, the inner lining of the front seat door was improperly modified and violated the side collision testing procedures and methods stipulated in the regulations. After discovering wrongdoing, Dafa immediately reported and consulted with the inspection and certification authority, and suspended shipments in approved countries after discussion with Toyota.

In addition to the internal investigation committee, Dafa Motor has set up an independent third-party committee to clarify the details of the matter, analyze the root causes, and formulate measures to prevent recurrence accordingly.
