CTOnews.com, April 29 (Xinhua)-- Lenovo unveiled a new generation of ThinkStation workstations in March, equipped with the latest hardware from Intel and NVIDIA, created by Lenovo in partnership with super luxury sports car maker Aston Martin.

Now, this series of workstations has been put on the market, including the P5 series with Intel Xeon WMI 2400 series processors, the P5 series with Intel Xeon Wmael 3400 series processors and the PX series with fourth-generation Xeon scalable processors with dual CPU.

In order to create these three new workstations, Lenovo worked with high-performance sports car maker Aston Martin to design a new ThinkStation chassis, according to officials. Inspired by Aston Martin's iconic DBS luxury sports car, the 3D intake grille at the front of the workstation applies the design concept of the high-performance vehicle field to the desktop workstation. The redesigned air guide cover and larger 3D hexagonal front panel, coupled with Lenovo's classic three-channel cooling system, ensure the smooth flow of cooling air. In addition, the three new workstations also have innovative modular design, and the front memory is easy to upgrade and maintain.

The ThinkStation PX workstation uses up to the fourth-generation Intel Xeon scalable processor and can provide up to 120 CPU cores, an improvement of 53% over the average performance of the previous generation. In addition, ThinkStation PX supports up to four dual-socket NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada architecture flagship professional graphics cards, making it easy for users to cope with the most complex workflows in the work environment, including creative post-production and CAE simulation. Workstations can carry up to 4TB DDR5 memory and provide ultra-high bandwidth through the PCIe Gen 5 high-speed channel. Finally, the workstation provides an efficient 1850W power supply and an optional redundant power supply.

The ThinkStation P7 workstation uses an Intel Xeon WMI 3400 processor that supports up to 56 cores of a single CPU and up to three top professional graphics cards based on the NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada architecture.

The ThinkStation P5 workstation uses an Intel Xeon Wmur2400 processor that supports up to 24 cores of a single CPU and up to two top professional graphics cards of the NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada architecture.

In terms of price, the ThinkStation P5 starts at 509300 yen (currently about 25923 yuan), the P7 starts at 777700 yen (currently about 39585 yuan), and the PX starts at 1688500 yen (currently about 85945 yuan).
