Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, April 29, according to two professional media tests this week, the AMD Ryzen 7000 series and Ryzen 7000X3D series processors have the problem of high standby power consumption.

Aris / crmaris uses the Powenetics v2 test tool and finds that the peak power consumption can reach 130W when the AMD Ryzen 7950X3D processor is idle.

The peak CPU load is only 3.53%, which is obviously unreasonable. Even with curve optimization and the-15 setting enabled, the peak standby power is still close to 125W.

Aris found that the Ryzen 7900X processor also had the same problem in the test, with a peak power of 109W and a CPU load of 5.12% in idle state, which is obviously unreasonable.

CTOnews.com attaches links to reports from two media: Igor's Lab and Hardware Busters, so that interested users can learn more about AMD's issue.
