But according to the results released by SK Hynix, their revenue is expected to improve in the second quarter. They have said in their results that they expect revenue to rebound in the second quarter after bottoming out in the first quarter as sales gradually increase.

SK Hynix's first-quarter results were released this week. Nearly a month after the second quarter, they give the expectation that revenue will rebound in the second quarter, which means that their sales are already increasing compared with the first quarter, and foreseeable second-quarter sales will also be higher than the first quarter.

SK Hynix's revenue began to decline from the third quarter of last year compared with the same period last year. Revenue of 10.98 trillion won (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 56.657 billion yuan) fell 7% from the same period last year and 20% from the previous quarter. It fell further to 7.67 trillion won (currently about 39.577 billion yuan) in the following quarter, down 38% from the same period last year and 30% from the previous quarter. At 5.088 trillion won (currently about 26.254 billion yuan) in the first quarter of this year, it fell another 34 per cent from the previous quarter and 58 per cent from a year earlier.

Revenue fell from the same period last year, and SK Hynix's net profit has also fallen sharply since the third quarter of last year, with 1.1 trillion won (currently about 5.676 billion yuan) in the third quarter, down more than 60% from the same period last year, and a net loss of 3.72 trillion won (currently about 19.195 billion yuan) in the fourth quarter. Although the net loss has narrowed this year. But it is still as high as 2.858 trillion won (currently about 14.747 billion yuan).
