CTOnews.com, April 28 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft has fixed a problem where Outlook desktop clients cannot access group mailboxes and calendars for Outlook for Microsoft 365 users.

The Outlook version in question includes the version released to Current Channel on March 28, 2023, and the Outlook Desktop Version 2304 Build 16327.20214.

The attached questions for CTOnews.com are as follows:

Unable to add or access group mailbox

Unable to add or access group calendar

Cannot add, delete, or edit group members

Unable to mark email or project as read

Cannot mark, archive, or move messages or items to other folders

Microsoft described the cause of the problem under EX540503 in the Microsoft Management Center: "recent standard service updates inadvertently include authentication code regression, making it impossible for some users to access or perform various Microsoft 365 sets of operations in the Outlook desktop client."

Affected Outlook users can access Files > Office accounts > Update options, and then click Update now to deploy.
