CTOnews.com, April 28 (Xinhua) Bloomberg's Mark Mark Gurman said in January that Apple will launch an Apple Watch Ultra watch with an MicroLED screen in 2024.

Ross Young, chief executive of screen supply chain consultancy DSCC, had previously thought Apple would release the watch in 2025 and narrowed it down again to the second half of 2025 in its latest paid tweet for subscribers only.

CTOnews.com Note: although Ross Young's revelations are usually accurate from a supply chain point of view, there are still 1-2 years to go before the product release, and delays in design, component procurement, and manufacturing may affect the release and sale of the watch.

Analyst Jeff Pu said in a research note for Haitong International Securities that the new high-end Apple Watch is likely to have a larger 2.1-inch Micro-LED display, which will have a brighter screen than the Apple Watch, which currently uses an OLED display. The watch is likely to be a new version of Apple's Apple Watch Ultra launched last September.
