In other words, Micron believes that the price at this stage is already the lowest and hopes that spot prices will stabilize from the second quarter. However, it remains to be tested whether the actual demand in the downstream market can support it.

Reported that Meguiar from the fourth quarter of 2022 actively launched production reduction measures, although the second quarter of February 2023 inventory turnover days are still rising, but the recent Micron quotation on the market is becoming more stable, downstream module practitioners also spread the wind, the storage plant plans to promote quotation from June, but the industry generally remains a wait-and-see mentality.

Dealer practitioners pointed out that recently officially received notice from the relevant departments of Meguiar consumer components, from May onwards DRAM and NAND Flash will not accept inquiries lower than the current market, meaning that Meguiar will no longer follow up the price decline requirements. Meguiar said it did not respond to market rumors.

Micron believes that inventory turnover days peaked in the second quarter, and revenue growth is expected to be coming, which is consistent with SK Hynix's view that revenue bottomed out in the first quarter and rebounded in the second quarter.
