For the first time in the industry, the system has realized the efficient data transmission of multi-stream beamforming under the airport scene when RIS is used as the base station. Field tests show that this system can realize multi-stream data transmission stably, and the downlink data rate of single user of handheld terminal can reach more than 5Gbps.

In addition, the release of this system preliminarily shows the great potential of 6G RIS technology in supporting multi-antenna dimension expansion and transmission capacity improvement in future mobile communication systems, and puts forward a new technical route to solve the technical challenges such as performance improvement and power reduction of 6G ultra-large-scale antenna, as well as the engineering problems such as the volume, weight, complexity and cost of antenna array. It also guides a new technical direction for the development of low cost, low power consumption and lightweight of large-scale antenna systems in the future.
