Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, April 27 (Xinhua)-- Counterpoint Research, another market research firm after Canalys, released a report on Chinese smartphones in the first quarter of 2023, showing a 5% year-on-year decline in sales and a 10% month-on-month increase.

The main contents of the attached report of CTOnews.com are as follows:

Smartphone sales in China fell 5% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2023, the lowest since 2014.

Due to the reduced impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, sales increased by 10 per cent in the first quarter compared with the previous quarter.

Apple's iPhone accounted for 19.9% of the quarter, the highest share since 2014, and sales reached the highest level since 2015.

The main reasons for boosting iPhone sales are the price reduction of iPhone in some retail channels and the subsidy of 800 yuan on some e-commerce platforms.

One plus had the biggest increase, with sales up 227% with the frequent launches of OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Ace 2 and Ace 2V.

Huawei's smartphone sales are up 41%. Although the mid-range nova 10 series and the high-end Mate 50 series still do not support 5G, they are still favored by consumers.
