CTOnews.com, April 27 (Xinhua)-- accessories maker Belkin recently launched the Connect 4-Port USB-C Hub docking station, the company's first product made of post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR).

Mr Belkin said 72 per cent of the plastic in the shell came from PCR without affecting the quality or safety of the docking station.

The docking station is equipped with four USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports and supports up to 100W pass-through charging and fast charging of Apple's Mac and iPad devices.

Belkin said its new USB-C hub is the only hub on the market that can provide the highest 10Gb / s speed, twice as fast as other available hubs. It also uses Fast role switching (FRS) to prevent data loss and device connection disruption when adding or removing power to the hub.

Belkin's Connect 4-Port USB-C Hub docking station is now available at Amazon for $52 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB360). The docking station is also available on Belkin's website for $45 (currently about 312 yuan), but it has been sold out.
