According to news from CTOnews.com on April 26, Aliyun announced the largest price reduction in history this morning, cutting the prices of core products by 15% to 50% across the board, and up to 50% for storage products.

Aliyun said that as the first cloud computing manufacturer in China and the top three cloud computing manufacturers in the world, the price cut will further expand the user base and scale of public cloud and increase the market penetration of cloud computing.

CTOnews.com noted that at the Aliyun Summit on April 11, Aliyun announced two major actions: one is to launch the Tongyi Qianqian model, and Ali will connect all its products to Tongyi Qianqian for a comprehensive transformation in the future; second, general computing will be greatly reduced by up to 40% compared with the previous generation of main products. Aliyun will also open free trials of core products such as computing storage, databases and machine learning.

Aliyun's annual revenue in 2022 was 77.59 billion yuan, an increase of 7.0% over the same period in 2021. The adjusted EBITA profit is 1.31 billion yuan, and the adjusted EBITA profit margin is 3.0%.
