A new switch control has been added to the Settings > Windows update page. When you open it, Windows gives priority to giving your device access to the latest non-security updates and enhancements when they apply to your device.

Changed the firewall settings. You can now configure application group rules.

Add animation to the widget buttons on the taskbar. These animations open when a new notification appears on the widget button on the taskbar, and when you hover or click the widget button.

Affecting the Islamic Republic of Iran. The update supports the government's order to change daylight saving time from 2022.

In addition to these new features, the update also solves some known problems Including affecting the local security permissions subsystem service (LSASS) process, affecting Microsoft Edge IE mode, affecting protected content, affecting mobile device management (MDM) customers, affecting Windows Defender application control (WDAC) policies, affecting task views, affecting Chinese input methods, affecting Windows Hello for Business PIN login, affecting administrator account locking policies, affecting unified write filter (UWF), affecting resilient file system (ReFS), Issues such as affecting MySQL commands and affecting SMB Direct.

At the same time, Microsoft also released a preview version of Windows 11 21H2 (KB5025298), which raised the version number to 22000.1880, which also changed the firewall settings and resolved some similar issues.

These updates have been tested on the release preview channel and are now available as an optional installation on the stable channel.
