According to news on the evening of April 25, Beijing time, EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Thierry Breton said today that from August this year, Amazon's third-party market Marketplace, Apple's App Store App Store, and other Internet services will be subject to the EU Digital Services Act.

Other services are online booking sites Booking.com, Facebook, Google Maps, Google Play App Store, Google search, Google Shopping, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, Wikipedia, YouTube, Microsoft Bing search and Zalando.

According to the EU Digital Services Act, these companies (services) with more than 45 million monthly active users are required to conduct risk management, conduct external and independent audits, and share data with authorities and researchers.

Twitter has said it has an average of 100.9 million monthly users in the EU. According to Alphabet, Google Maps has an average of 278.6 million login users per month, Google Play App Store has 274.6 million login users, Google search has 332 million login users, Google Shopping has 7490 million login users, and YouTube has an average of 401.7 million login users per month.

Meta said that in the second half of 2022, the average number of monthly active users of its Facebook app in the EU was 255 million, while the average number of monthly active users of the Instagram app was about 250 million.
