Snapdragon India confirmed that the device is indeed the Poco F5, which will be India's first mobile phone using Snapdragon 7 + Gen 2 chip, using TSMC 4nm process. Qualcomm said that compared with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the platform will bring a 50 per cent improvement in overall performance, a 13 per cent increase in energy efficiency and a 2x improvement in AI performance. The Geekbench running score showed that the mononuclear score of Poco F5 was 1629 and the polynucleus score was 4295.

The configuration specification of Xiaomi Poco F5 is very similar to that of Redmi Note 12 Turbo and is expected to be a different name version of the same product. The Poco F5 will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery, a 67W fast charge, and a pre-installed MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13; other specifications should include a 6.67in AMOLED screen and a rear 64MP main camera.

The previous generation of millet Poco F4 uses Snapdragon 870. compared with Snapdragon 7 + Gen 2 chip (CTOnews.com Note: CPU large core frequency 2.92GHz), Snapdragon 7 + Snapdragon 2 chip brings more obvious performance improvement.
