There is a microcontroller on the SSD that monitors all traffic passing through the controller, CTOnews.com reported, citing Cigent. It uses machine learning to determine which traffic is normal I / O and which are blackmail software operations. Once blackmail software activity is detected, the SSD automatically locks on multiple authentication, and the user can access it with a preset password.
