CTOnews.com April 25 news, Mozilla wrote on the Firefox 112.0.1 release notes page: "in rare cases, animated Firefox themes may take up too much memory."

CTOnews.com quoted Mozilla as saying that Firefox users may encounter this problem after using certain animated themes such as Dark Space.

Mozilla recommends that users use a theme that has no problem before the patch is officially released. Currently, Firefox 112,113,114 users have reported this problem, but the Firefox ESR version is not affected.

The problem was reported to Mozilla six days ago and engineers have been working to fix it ever since. Updates to Beta and Nightly versions of Firefox have been deployed to fix this problem.
