CTOnews.com, April 25 (Xinhua)-- Samsung and Microsoft, two tech giants, have opened free "game zones" at Microsoft experience centers in London and New York, allowing users to play Xbox cloud games on Samsung's smart TVs and monitors.

Han Shangshu, executive vice president of Samsung TV, said: "We are pleased to work with Microsoft to provide players around the world with an excellent experience of Samsung Gaming Hub. Samsung Gaming Hub has been integrated into Samsung's smart TVs and displays, and Samsung will continue to promote this incredible service to attract players around the world through expanded partnerships and innovative technology."

The partnership is not an one-off event. CTOnews.com noted that Samsung became the first TV platform to install Xbox apps on smart TVs as early as June 2022. Through Samsung Gaming Hub, users can stream more than 100 games using the Xbox app as long as they subscribe to Xbox Game Pass. Moreover, users do not need to download or worry about storage space restrictions.

In order to create a more immersive experience, Samsung has set up three dedicated game areas in the game zone, each with its own characteristics, as well as a series of Samsung game monitors. The first is the cloud game area, which is equipped with a 55-inch Neo QLED smart TV for cloud games through Samsung Gaming Hub, and visitors can play Xbox cloud games instantly without downloading.

The second is the living room area, with three 98-inch Neo QLED 4K HDR smart TVs (London) and an 85-inch Neo QLED 8K TV (New York), where users can enjoy high-definition picture quality and shocking sound effects.

Finally, there is the tournament area, equipped with a 24-inch Odyssey G3 game display (London) and a 27-inch Odyssey G5 game display (New York), where users can participate in a variety of competitive competitions and challenges.

In addition to Xbox, Samsung Gaming Hub also supports cloud gaming platforms such as Amazon Luna, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Utomik. Currently, Samsung Gaming Hub has been launched in Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom and other countries and regions.
