According to Intel's official disclosure of the "LGA1851-MTL-S Interposer for the Gen5 VR Test Tool" document, the discovery of "LGA1851-MTL-S Interposer (Q6UB1851MTLS)" indicates that Intel may still be preparing Meteor Lake-S desktop chips.

The LGA1851 slot also has 1851 touchpoints, an increase of 8.9% over the currently used LGA1700.

CTOnews.com previously reported that according to the latest news from TechPowerUp, "Meteor Lake" still has a desktop version with 6 performance cores plus 16 efficiency cores. Among them, P core is "Redwood Cove", IPC is higher than the current "Raptor Cove", E core is "Crestmont", IPC is also improved.
