CTOnews.com April 25 news, CTOnews.com learned from Tesla official Weibo that Tesla in Chinese mainland area opened the charging network to other non-Tesla new energy vehicles pilot, and the first batch of pilot opened 10 Tesla supercharging stations for 37 non-Tesla models.

CTOnews.com noticed that Tesla's charging piles can be used in BYD, Xilai, Polar Krypton, ideal, Cyrus and other models.

For a long time, Tesla's supercharging station was only open to Tesla drivers. At the end of 2021, Tesla launched the "Open charging Network pilot Program" in Europe for non-Tesla vehicles, which is now available to car owners in more than 10 countries and regions around the world.

In the pilot operation phase, the charging station is only open to Tesla models. But Tesla has announced that its V4 super-charging pile will be open to all electric vehicles, which could help the company's charging business growth.

Up to now, Tesla has arranged more than 1600 super charging stations and more than 10000 super charging piles in the Chinese mainland area, together with more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 2000 destination charging piles.
