CTOnews.com, April 25 (Xinhua) according to the latest report released by market research firm Counter Point, global sales of refurbished smartphones increased by 5% in 2022 compared with the same period last year, but the domestic market fell by 17%.

Apple accounted for 49% of the global refurbished smartphone market in 2022, up 16% from a year earlier.

Samsung's share fell from 28% in 2021 to 26% in 2022.

This was followed by Samsung with a share of 26%.

India had the highest year-on-year growth rate of 19 per cent, followed by Latin America with 18 per cent.
