The growth rate of information technology service revenue increased slightly. In the first quarter, the revenue from information technology services totaled 1.5845 trillion yuan, up 13.9 percent from the same period last year, and the growth rate was 2.3 percent higher than that in February. Of this total, revenue from cloud computing and big data services totaled 262 billion yuan, up 16.6 percent from the same period last year, accounting for 16.5 percent of the revenue from information technology services; 59.9 billion yuan from integrated circuit design, up 5.5 percent from the same period last year; and 204 billion yuan from technical services for e-commerce platforms, an increase of 4.8 percent over the same period last year.

The income of information security has increased steadily. In the first quarter, revenue from information security products and services totaled 36.7 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1 percent over the same period last year.

The growth of embedded system software revenue is accelerating. In the first quarter, the revenue of embedded system software was 214.5 billion yuan, an increase of 14.7% over the same period last year.

The software business income of the four regions accounted for 83.8%, 3.4%, 11.2% and 1.7% of the total national income, respectively.
