CTOnews.com April 24 news, Jingxiong Expressway (Beijing section) is a key project and demonstration project in the planning and construction of Xiongan New area of the "Millennium Plan". China Mobile said that the Beijing section of the Jingxiong Expressway has covered the 5G network, while the "vehicle-road coordination system" developed in cooperation with China Railway Group and other units is also stepping up installation and commissioning and will launch a full-line application in the middle of the year.

According to Tu Yuan Pexels, this is Beijing Mobile's first new infrastructure demonstration project of "5G + cloud network + vehicle-road coordination". Jingxiong Expressway (Beijing section) will become the first intelligent highway with full coverage of 5G dedicated network in China. The innermost "smart lane" of the highway will support C-V2X-assisted driving, and this "intelligent network-only lane" will support full-section self-driving in the future. Public data show that the Beijing section of Jingxiong Expressway starts from the Fifth Ring Road south of Beijing in the north and connects with the Hebei section in the south. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic this year. The 27-kilometer highway now fully covers the 5G private network, with a total of 45 5G base stations, an average of one base station per 600 meters.
