The car is jointly developed by Xi'an Jiaotong University's Shaanxi magnesium-based New Materials Engineering Research Center and Shaanxi Automobile Group Dechuang Future Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. for the first time, the concept of lightweight magnesium alloy is integrated into the whole process of design and development, engineering manufacturing and after-effect verification of heavy-duty trucks, and conquers the key technologies of high-quality automotive magnesium alloys in the fields of fine even and clean ingot casting, precision plastic forming, robust connection assembly, controllable and efficient protection. Form the research and development technical scheme of magnesium alloy lightweight trailer system.

According to reports, the amount of magnesium alloy used in a lightweight magnesium alloy trailer is more than 800 kg, and the size of the largest single magnesium alloy product is 13 meters. Compared with the original steel scheme, the comprehensive weight reduction is nearly 1 ton, which can significantly improve the economic efficiency of road freight transportation.
