On April 24, on the occasion of the eighth China Space Day, the China Soong Qingling Foundation joined hands with Tencent to create a public welfare program for young people, "Master Lecture for Children" on the new "Space Exploration" special. Wang Jingyi, a researcher at the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Wang Chi, Ambassador of China Aerospace Commonweal Image and Director of the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Yang Mengfei, chief commander and chief designer of Chang'e 5, three academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, combined with the latest space developments, explored the mysteries of space science among young people, such as popular science and the moon, to inspire children to imagine the future of space and plant the seeds of "inquiring the sky."

In this special issue of Space Exploration, Academician Wang Jingyi uses sunspots and other astronomical phenomena to guide children to think about whether they can find a "livable zone of life" outside the sun. In combination with the solar helium flash crisis in the film wandering Earth 2, Academician Wang Chi asked teenagers how the "space weather" caused by solar activity would affect the Earth, the moon, Mars and other stars. And share the story of launching Kuafu 1 to observe the violent phenomenon of "one magnetic storm and two storms" of the sun. In combination with the journey of the Chang'e family to the moon, Academician Yang Mengfei explained the plan of the future lunar research station, slowly unfolded the blueprint of China's lunar exploration project, and inspired the younger generation to do promising young people for the times.

In order to reach a wide range of young people, the special "Master Lecture for Children" and "Space Exploration" will be launched on the official platform of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, as well as in the "Youth Model" of more than 10 Tencent products, including Wechat, QQ, Tencent Video, etc., and on China Educational Television and Learning Power. And the official platform of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group, the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which will also be recommended by the wisdom education platform for primary and secondary school students. On April 25, Academician Wang Chi and "the most Beautiful Space teacher" Wang Yaping will also bring a "master lecture hall for children" to China University of Science and Technology and Hefei No. 6 Middle School respectively to have face-to-face exchanges with young people with space dreams.

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology published the Law of the people's Republic of China on the Popularization of Science and Technology (revised draft). It is proposed that science popularization is the common task and responsibility of the whole society, and all sectors of society should organize and participate in all kinds of science popularization activities. Science popularization has always been a major direction of "master lecture hall for children" to polish high-quality content for young people, among which aerospace science popularization is a key area. Since the program was launched in September 2021, Academician Qi Fali, the first chief designer of the Shenzhou spacecraft, Ouyang Ziyuan, the first chief scientist of the lunar exploration project, Jia Yang, deputy chief designer of the lunar and Mars probe, and more than 10 of China's top aerospace engineers and astronomers have successively led young people to dream spaceflight, helping them establish a "systematic understanding" of space exploration. Walking into the "master lecture hall", a "space gate", young people can not only "roam" in outer space such as Mars and the moon, feel the magic of the universe, but also "cross" the long river of history and understand the space spirit of our country.

"Master Lecture Hall for Children" has been launched for 129 episodes of video content, and has been listed by the leading Group of minors Protection work of the State Council on the "2022 National list of key events for the Protection of minors". It has been incorporated into the framework of joint publicity mechanism by the Department of Supervision of out-of-School Education and training of the Ministry of Education, the Central Youth Department of the Communist Youth League, the Family and Child work Department of the all-China Women's Federation, the China Science and Technology Museum of the China Science and Technology Association, and the office of China Soong Qingling Foundation as excellent out-of-school youth education.
