For the 3nm process, TSMC management also focused on the first quarter earnings analyst conference call.

In a conference call with earnings analysts, TSMC CEO Wei Zhijia said that their 3nm process was mass produced at a considerable rate of quality, and that customer demand for 3nm process exceeded their capacity driven by demand for high-performance computing and smartphone applications, and they expected that capacity would be fully utilized this year.

Wei Zhijia also revealed at the meeting that their 3nm process process is expected to generate considerable revenue for them from the third quarter, and is expected to account for a medium single digit share of their wafer foundry business income this year.

Wei Zhe Jia also said at the meeting that their 3nm process is the most advanced semiconductor technology in terms of power consumption, performance, area and transistor technology. therefore, they expect that the strong customer demand for their 3nm process will continue for many years, and they are confident that the 3nm process family will become another large and lasting process node for them.
