CTOnews.com, April 24, PENTAX Pentax, a camera brand owned by Ricoh, announced the launch of four binoculars with ultra-low dispersion (ED) lenses:

PENTAX AD 7 × 32 ED (A Series)

PENTAX AD 10 × 32 ED (A Series)

PENTAX SD 7 × 42 ED (S-Series)

PENTAX SD 10 × 42 ED (S-Series)

Pentax AD 7 × 32 ED and Pentax AD 10 × 32 ED inherit the compact, lightweight design of A-series binoculars. In addition to using the same lens coating as the high-end model, an enhanced ultra-low dispersion (ED) lens is added to Series A roof prism binoculars for the first time, which can effectively compensate for chromatic aberration.

Main features:

It uses the same dielectric high-reflection multilayer prism coating technology as the high-end Z series model.

A complete multiple coating process is applied to the surface of all lenses, and a special coating is used to optimize the light transmittance.

The first model in the Pentax A series uses ultra-low dispersion (ED) optical lenses to compensate for color aberration.

An objective lens with a diameter of 32 mm is adopted, which is easy to carry in a variety of application scenarios.
