Intel is providing customers with a step-by-step version of Xeon Emerald Rapids Rmael 0 for system testing and debugging, according to a document dated April 21. The sample will be fused into PQS and classified as ES2 standard. That means the chip will be launched later this year as planned.

Then another whistleblower, @ YuuKi_AnS, shared two pictures of Intel Emerald Rapids-SP CPU, which are also samples of ES2. From the capacitor layout on the back, the Emerald Rapids chip is very different from the Sapphire Rapids chip.

According to the information available, the Intel Xeon Emerald Rapids series CPU series will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2023, with up to 64 cores and 128 threads. The flagship product will have a dual-core layout (CTOnews.com Note: Sapphire Rapids series up to 4 cores), will have a large amount of L3 cache (reportedly up to 320 MB), and will continue to use the existing LGA 4677 slot.

In addition, Intel is said to be providing samples of sSpec numbers to OEM manufacturers, and the first ES1 processors are based on A1 steps. According to previous rumors, Meteor Lake-S includes a variety of SKU for the desktop LGA 1851 platform (both Meteor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh are 14 generations), but the number is limited:
