By the end of March, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.62 billion kilowatts, an increase of 9.1 percent over the same period last year. Of this total, the installed capacity of wind power is about 380 million kilowatts, an increase of 11.7 percent over the same period last year, and the installed capacity of solar power is about 430 million kilowatts, an increase of 33.7 percent over the same period last year.

According to Tuyuan Pexels, from January to March this year, the country's major power generation enterprises completed an investment of 126.4 billion yuan in power supply projects, an increase of 55.2 percent over the same period last year. Of this total, solar power generation was 52.2 billion yuan, up 177.6 percent over the same period last year, and nuclear power was 16.1 billion yuan, up 53.5 percent over the same period last year. The investment in the power grid project was 66.8 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5% over the same period last year.

From January to March, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 868 hours, 31 hours less than that of the same period last year. Of these, hydropower was 544 hours, 92 hours less than the same period last year; thermal power 1097 hours, 18 hours less than the same period last year; wind power 615 hours, an increase of 61 hours over the same period last year; nuclear power 1864 hours, an increase of 17 hours over the same period last year; solar power 303 hours, an increase of 3 hours over the same period last year.
