CTOnews.com reported on April 22 that the 2023 GAC Design Competition was officially launched at the GAC European R & D Center in Milan, Italy, and released the global proposition-"the immediate Future". At the same time, GAC GROUP also released the second concept car in the CAR CULTURE series-- the VAN LIFE concept car.

CTOnews.com obtained from GAC GROUP official account that GAC GROUP officially launched the design competition in Milan, Italy for the first time this year, and set up three international divisions, namely, the Asian Division, the European Division and the North American Division, and also issued a global proposition, inviting outstanding students from different countries and regions to participate in the competition. Since its inception in 2017, the Guangzhou Automobile Design Competition has been held seven times in a row.

At the event, GAC GROUP released the second concept car of the Car Culture series: VAN LIFE, which takes environmental protection and sustainability as the core and makes full use of electrification technology. The VAN LIFE interior uses a track frame conceptual design that allows users to install a variety of custom elements into the car, from bags and smartphones to trays or hammocks, which not only enhance the user's sense of participation, but also make the interior space more flexible and multi-functional. The track frame also has modular equipment, which can be installed in the front of the frame structure to absorb light energy and convert it into electricity.
