According to CTOnews.com news on April 22, JD.com Logistics said today that it will successively launch 1.5 million circular express packages to promote the shared recycling model of circular packaging. by the end of 2024, this measure alone will reduce more than 100 million disposable packages such as cartons, foam boxes and plastic bags.

JD.com logistics said that emphasis will be placed on recycling thermal insulation turnover boxes and green flow boxes (empty boxes in stacked structure), and explore the application of circular express bags in specific scenes.

Circular packaging will adopt standardized dimensions and cancel the printing of brand elements, which will help to achieve resource sharing and mode sharing in the industry. JD.com Logistics will put circular packaging on a large scale in more than 30 cities across the country, use circular packaging in personal delivery and merchant collection at JD.com express sites, and give priority to the same-city delivery business. At the same time, JD.com Logistics will also join hands with a number of brands to use recycling boxes for packaging in the production and processing links of the factory, strive to design the integrated structure of commodity packaging and express packaging, and cancel the secondary packaging operation in the logistics link. relying on the end community recycling network, circular packaging can circulate efficiently between brand factories and consumers.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, in 2017, JD.com Logistics officially launched the "Green flow Project". In the green packaging link, by the end of 2022, JD.com Logistics had regularly put 700000 recycling incubators in 18 cities across the country, and 200000 recyclable green flow boxes had been put into use in 30 cities.
