Generative AI is the biggest contributor, with Nvidia's market capitalization increasing by US $329 billion or 94% in the past four months.

CTOnews.com, April 22, according to The Street, Nvidia's market capitalization has increased by $329 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2.27 trillion yuan) in the past four months, an increase of 94%.

As of April 19, 2023, Nvidia's total market capitalization was close to $690 billion (currently about 4.75 trillion yuan), and that $329 billion was increased in the first four months of 2023.

The main reason for the soaring market value of Nvidia is the explosion of generative AI represented by ChatGPT, driving the strong demand for Nvidia graphics cards.

The researchers estimate that 30000 Nvidia A100 GPU are needed for the ChatGPT project alone. The unit price of the A100 GPU is between $10000 and $15000, which means Nvidia can earn at least $300m (CTOnews.com Note: about 2.067 billion yuan) from the ChatGPT project.
