A month ago, Hisense's young fashion brand Vidda released a brand-new professional-grade 4K tricolor laser projection Vidda C1S, equipped with an LPU tricolor laser engine and a Hi-Fi customized JBL sound system, including eight key upgrades, including an increase in measured brightness to 1600ANSI lumens, a color gamut to 110% BT.2020, a contrast ratio to 1600:1, and speckle dissipation technology. The projector starts at 7299 yuan and is now officially on sale.

Compared with the previous generation C1, the appearance of Vidda C1S does not change too much. It still adopts a relatively "square" shape. The body is dark gray without too many line decoration. The integrated metal body shape is quite simple and has a strong all-purpose attribute.

The front of Vidda C1S is treated with metal wire drawing process, and a circular treatment is made around the projection lens; below is a large area of strip heat dissipation holes.

On both sides of the projection lens, there is also a camera and ToF sensor for autofocus, automatic obstacle avoidance, screen entry, etc.

At the top of the device are the keys for turning on and volume of the product.

The side adopts a large-area hollowed-out design to ensure better heat dissipation and sound release of the product. The back adopts Vidda engraved logo, and there is a row of concave interfaces below. Interface includes DC*1, HDMI 2.0 *2, USB 2.0 *2, fiber * 1, earphone * 1, network port * 1.

In terms of installation mode, Vidda C1S supports table front projection, lifting front projection, lifting rear projection, table rear projection, etc., which can meet the needs of different scenarios.

The weight of the Vidda C1S is 4.8kg. Although it is heavier, adults can still move it. It has certain portable attributes, and the length of the power cord distributed reaches 3m, meeting the needs of different indoor environments and outdoor camping.

In terms of sound effects, Vidda teamed up with audio brand JBL to customize a HiFi sound system for C1S, including 2x10W speakers, MAX sound pressure up to 90+dB, carefully tuned by Harman acoustic team, and supports Dolby + DTS double decoding, DTS Virtual X 360° surround sound + Dolby DAP sound + Viper sound.

It is understood that Vidda C1S is equipped with Hisense LPU three-color laser engine, including four "black technologies." Among them, the microcrystalline anti-noise algorithm deeply optimizes the DLP micromirror flip timing, which can effectively suppress noise up to 99.9%; while the achromatic effect of OPT super achromatic technology can reach 98%, realizing no ghost in the picture; the integral chain light uniformity integration technology can improve the brightness uniformity of the picture to 97%. In terms of speckle dissipation technology, Hisense has the largest number of 102 patents in the world, so the brand-new multi-dimensional dynamic speckle dissipation solution equipped with Vidda C1S takes the lead in realizing speckle "human eye weak feeling" in the industry.

As the highest color purity light source available to humans, the three-color laser greatly improves the color performance of the image, taking the Vidda C1S as an example, the color gamut reaches 110% BT.2020, and the color accuracy reaches ΔE≈0.9. The Vidda C1S has a measured brightness of 1600ANSI lumens compared to 1600CVIA lumens measured with the new standard.

In addition, Vidda C1S is equipped with MTK9669 high-end chip, 4GB running memory, 64GB mass storage, WiFi5 and Bluetooth 5.0 support, near-field + far-field voice command support, and adopts the brand-new algorithm of Science and Technology University Xinfeld to accurately pick up sound. For gamers, the Vidda C1S supports an ultra-high refresh rate of 240Hz for all channels in 1080p Full HD mode with latency as low as 12 ms.

In terms of AI picture correction, Vidda C1S has upgraded the new high-definition laser dToF, which can realize senseless focusing and more comfortable correction experience; it adds bilateral screen entry, which is faster and smarter. After starting up, it automatically projects clear and square forward projection or side projection pictures, further improving the use experience.
