CTOnews.com April 22, according to South Korean media ETNews reported that Apple Apple Pay launched in South Korea in the first month, the number of offline stores exceeded 110. Although Apple's mobile payment service was initially limited by NFC payment terminals in South Korea, the number of users is growing rapidly.

Apple's Apple Pay service officially launched in South Korea on March 21, with only 32 offline stores supporting it at the beginning of its launch, while the number of Hyundai Card, a cooperative bank, increased by 78, an increase of 243%.

CTOnews.com Note: Apple has been promoting the launch of Apple Pay services in South Korea since 2017, but it did not get approval from financial regulators until February this year because of intense scrutiny by regulators.
