CTOnews.com April 22, Microsoft released the Windows Server Build 25346 preview update again today after releasing the Win11 update for the Canary channel on April 20.

Microsoft, as in the past, did not release a full update log, but released a short blog post. This preview update is synchronized with the Win11 Canary channel version, and the blog post does not mention improvements, but only informs you of known problems.

The known issues include:

There is a problem with this preview: archiving event logs using the "wevetutil al" command causes the Windows event log service to crash and the archiving operation fails. The service must be restarted by executing "Start-Service EventLog" from the administrative command line prompt.

Microsoft does not recommend installing this preview version if you have enabled the Secure Launch / DRTM code path.

CTOnews.com note: the brand of Server has not been updated and is still Windows Server 2022 in the preview version. In addition, Microsoft calls these versions Windows Server vNext, not Windows Server 2022, which is already on the market.

The Azure version does not accept keys.

Microsoft also pointed out that the preview version will expire on September 15, 2023.
