This conference is under the guidance of Open Atomic Open Source Foundation and co-sponsored by China Software Industry Association, openEuler Community and Edge Computing Industry Alliance. With the theme of "thousands of trickles, surging forward", the conference aims to promote innovation and breakthroughs in operating systems and basic software.

Euler has been open source for three years. So far, Euler has more than 800 ecological partners, more than 13000 contributors, more than 1 million downloads worldwide, nearly 4000 daily active developers, more than 2000 daily discussions and 10 new innovation projects every month. OpenEuler has deployed more than 3 million sets of commercial units, accounting for more than 25 per cent of the new market share in 2022. It is understood that in 2023, Euler aims to increase the market share of server operating systems in China by more than 35%, making it the first new market share in China.

Over the past three years, the openEuler open source community has received contributions from 393 original projects. In December 2022, the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation officially approved openEuler as a project group that can accept donated projects.

At this conference, five major projects completed donation Ouler's intention to sign, including: Gostone from Telecom Tianyi Cloud for security and high-performance authentication of cloud operating systems; CTinspector from Telecom Tianyi Cloud, CTinspector from Telecom Tianyi Cloud to achieve multi-node operation and maintenance and inspection through ebpf technology; ZVM from Hunan University, embedded real-time virtual machine based on Zypher Rust-Shyper from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Type-1 virtual machine monitor for embedded scenarios based on Rust, and QuickPool from Hua Heng Sheng Shi, which provides computing power scheduling for large-scale computing.

The openEuler Industrial operating system Preparatory Committee was established with 12 members from core manufacturers from the upper and lower reaches of the industrial chain, including hardware, OSV and academic institutions. Hardware partners include Shanghai Haisi, Dafou, Tosda, Feiteng, and OSV partners include China Kechuangda, Guochuang Center, Kirin Software, Kirin Software, Kirin Xinan, Softong Power, run and Software, etc. The Industrial operating system Preparatory Committee will accelerate the promotion of Euler in the industrial and robotic fields, and accelerate the incubation of embedded capabilities and ROS capabilities.

In March 2023, openEuler 23.03 was released, jointly completed by 908 contributors to the community. The full scenario capability of this version is enhanced, and the embedded commercial version is officially released. Based on the goal architecture, the embedded system innovates the core competence in an orderly way, and supports industrial control, robot, end-edge cloud collaboration and other scenarios.

At this conference, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area National Technology Innovation Center and Chengdu Jingrong Lianchuang Technology released a commercial release based on openEuler embedded capability, and Kirin Xinan is also in full preparation for release.

Beihang-Huawei key Software Joint Lab unveiled and released an intelligent robot system. The system is based on openEuler embedded operating system and complements the open source software ecology of various robot applications for the openEuler community.

OpenEuler connects with the four major open source foundations in the world, and has completed 95% of the project compatibility support. For platform open source software, such as OpenStack, KubeEdge, OpenHPC, Hadoop, Spark, etc., it has achieved the native support of the upstream community. The coverage includes: cloud native, big data, distributed storage, database, HPC and other mainstream application scenarios.

At the meeting, the Open Atomic School Source Bank @ openEuler campaign was officially launched. "Open Atomic School Source Bank" is a long-term public welfare project initiated by the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation, which aims to cultivate open source talents for colleges and universities across the country by funding open source communities, promoting open source courses, and setting up open source scholarships, and accelerate the prosperity and development of open source ecology.
