CTOnews.com, April 21, 2009. ASRock released a new Blazing Quad PCIe 5.0 expansion card in February this year, which supports four M.2 SSD. Now, this expansion card has begun to go on sale overseas.

According to reports, ASRock Blazing Quad M.2 SSD expansion card uses PCI-Express 5.0x16 connection, built-in four groups of M2.0x4 slots (PCIe 5.0x4), and with two small fans active cooling design.

ASRock Blazing Quad M.2 SSD expansion card supports 2242 SSD 2260 SSD, built-in four LED lights, which can display the status of four SSD. In addition, this expansion card needs to be powered by 6pin.

In terms of price, ASRock Blazing Quad M.2 SSD expansion card costs 16980 yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 869 yuan) and will be officially listed on April 28.
