CTOnews.com, April 20, Microsoft last month adjusted its Windows Insider project team to introduce Canary channel on top of existing Dev, Beta and Release Preview channels.

According to the latest details found by netizen Xeno, the version of Canary channel has been upgraded from Build 253xx to Build 258xx, which may mean that Microsoft is ready to push more new features and features to Canary channel.

PhantomOcean3 also said in a follow-up tweet that Win11 development is about to enter a new phase called "Gallium". The updated changes in CTOnews.com are as follows:

196xx-> 201xx: upgrade from manganese (Mn) to iron (Fe)

202xx-> 212xx: upgrade from Fe to Co

213xx-> 223xx: upgrade from cobalt (Co) to nickel (Ni)

225xx-> 250xx: upgrade from nickel (Ni) to copper (Cu)

Upgrade from copper (Cu) to zinc (Zn) without version jump: 25239-> 25240

253xx-> 258xx: upgrade from Zn to Ga
