CTOnews.com reported on April 19 that Asustek has launched two new corporate notebooks, the Asustek ExpertBook B1402 and B1502, in India, which will be sold "to commercial PC channel partners", but the launch price and date have not been disclosed.

The Asustek ExpertBook B1 (1402 and 1502) series will use Intel's 12th generation processors, with options including Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U SKU. Core i3 models will be equipped with Intel UHD integrated graphics cards, while the other two processor models will be equipped with Intel Xe graphics cards.

In addition, the two ExpertBook B1 models have a total of several display options, including LED backlight 1366 x 768resolution, LED backlight full HD resolution, and full HD TN panel. The Asus ExpertBook B1402 has a 14-inch screen and the B1502 has a 15.6-inch screen.

The laptop memory and storage configuration will include 16GB DDR4 memory and 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and the memory configuration can be manually upgraded to 32GB. Other core functions include a backlit keyboard, fingerprint recognition, and a multi-touch pad that can be used as a virtual digital keyboard for the Asustek NumberPad 2.0. In addition, even if the numeric keypad is enabled, the user can still use the trackpad to control the mouse pointer.

In terms of connectivity, the two laptops have two USB-A ports, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.2 Gen 1. Two USB-C ports are also obtained, one of which is USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard for power transmission, and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with full functions, including support for DisplayPort and power transmission. There is also a HDMI 1.4port, a RJ45 Ethernet port with LED indicator for connection, and a 3.5mm audio combination port.

The new laptop supports Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1connection, 720p HD webcam. Built-in 42Wh battery, support 65W USB-C power adapter charging. The charging time is 49 minutes and the charge can reach 60%. It is advertised that the flight duration is 7 hours. The thickness is 19.9mm, and the weight of Asustek ExpertBook B1402 is 1.49kg 1.69Kg. The two laptops are also equipped with infrared cameras to identify Windows Hello.

Security products on laptops emphasize the enterprise part, with a trusted platform module (CTOnews.com Note: TPM,Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 security chip, a Kensington mini security port, and a physical webcam cover. The display on the laptop supports a flat push of 180 degrees.

Finally, the new notebook is US-MIL-STD-810H certified, has military-grade durability and can place up to 25Kg weight on the laptop lid without damaging the product.
