In Dr. Wei Junqing's opinion, the bulk logistics business volume is huge, the transportation route business concentration is high, and the bulk cargo owner is sensitive to freight, so the demand for cost reduction and efficiency increase is urgent, and the automatic driving technology can bring great value. However, completely unmanned trucks will face many challenges in the actual operation of open roads. For a long time in the future, unmanned freight landing will need to be solved through hybrid intelligence.

To this end, KargoBot has created a hybrid unmanned solution that is most suitable for bulk freight, with the core product being the hybrid intelligent formation system KargoOne. KargoOne consists of a pilot vehicle with intelligent driving function driven by a driver and multiple L4-class autonomous trucks, which can realize end-to-end logistics transportation in various complex scenarios for short, medium and long distances. Through the brand-new driver console, the pilot driver can know the status of the whole fleet at any time, command the unmanned vehicles to form, pull over, dissolve the queue and other operations, and can also realize one-button call remote support, and the remote operator can access the L4 vehicle for diagnosis and decision assistance.

This hybrid unmanned mode enables KargoBot to increase its processing capacity in complex scenarios by 50 times, increase its core safety indicators by 20 times, and effectively reduce wind resistance and energy consumption by 5-10%. KargoBot's cargo trial operation mode with safety officer also enables KargoBot's vehicles to be tested and operated, greatly reducing the cost of autonomous driving test and quickly iterating and verifying technology. As of March this year, KargoBot has transported more than 1.2 million tons of coal and other bulk commodities accumulatively, with accumulated logistics revenue exceeding 100 million yuan. In addition, Kargobot has also released KargoCloud, an intelligent dispatching platform for mixed capacity, which can further improve the efficiency of cargo operation and dispatching. Up to now, more than 350 trucks have been connected to the mixed capacity dispatching platform, and more than 300 million yuan of logistics business is dispatched by this platform every year.

At the meeting, Dr. Wei Junqing also disclosed KargoBot's diversified strategic partners for the first time. In terms of computing solutions, KargoBot has reached strategic cooperation with Horizon, and both parties will give full play to their respective advantages to develop driverless truck domain controller products with high performance, high reliability and high redundancy based on Journey Series chips, helping autonomous trucks to provide safer and more stable transportation services. In terms of vehicle hardware, KargoBot has cooperated with Shaanxi Automobile to launch a front-loading mass production announcement model equipped with hybrid intelligent formation system KargoOne with complete unmanned capability. Combined with KargoBot's newly developed automatic driving system, it can realize safer and more efficient operation. It is expected that more than 1,000 vehicles of this model will be deployed within two years. In terms of commercialization, KargoBot deeply cultivates the main battlefield of bulk commodity logistics in Northwest China and North China, and explores intelligent logistics transformation mode with many well-known enterprises downstream of industrial chain. In addition, Inner Mongolia Ordos Group plans to participate in KargoBot's first round of financing.
