CTOnews.com, April 19, Google launched the MusicLM model in January this year, which can generate various types of music based on text content. Google is constantly improving its algorithm and can now create 5-minute songs based on a short text description.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that Google officials say the new algorithm has been trained for 280000 hours of recording and can generate five-minute songs based on text, and the content is more similar to that of human composers.

Google also invited a group of listeners to evaluate MusicLM, and the results showed that MusicLM outperformed similar algorithms in all respects.

However, the algorithm is still a long way from writing a complete song. At present, MusicLM can not accurately grasp the structure of music works, and the generated songs can be clearly distinguished.
