As previously reported by CTOnews.com, on October 19, 2022, the Sims 4 was officially converted to a free game, which can be downloaded and played for free on PC, PS4, PS5, XSX | S and Xbox One platforms. The original price of the standard version is 118 yuan.

Since the Sims 4 ontology was converted to a free game on the platform since October 2022, 16 million new players have downloaded the game, with an average weekly increase of 53 per cent, according to EA's official statistics.
