Thank you, CTOnews.com netizens, for your clue delivery! CTOnews.com, April 19 (Xinhua)-- NSO Group, a notorious Israeli spyware maker, launched at least three "zero click" (zero-click) attacks against iPhone users in 2022 to explore ways to infiltrate Apple phones, Citizen Lab researchers found.

One of the main forms of attack against iPhone is phishing, disguised as official content such as Apple and PayPal, to trick users into clicking on links and installing malware.

The "zero click" attack launched by NSO Group does not require user interaction and click, but only needs to send an iMessage message to the target iPhone. An attacker can also remotely access iPhone content without opening the information.

CTOnews.com Note: Citizen Lab shared these findings with Apple, which later fixed these vulnerabilities in the iOS 16.3.1 update released in February this year.
